Memoirs of the Passenger:

Scenes on the road. "I tried exploring the idea of not having total control like a passenger in a car. Photographers like to control as many elements in capturing a scene like a driver of a car on the highway, but when you are moving along as the passenger you take in the changing landscapes as they pass by. I drew inspiration from the black & white images of the Great Depression photographers and 'Steinbeckian' imagery of westward movement"  - DS
